മംഗല്പാടിയുടെ ചരിത്രമുറങ്ങുന്ന കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമം ..... ചെറുഗോളി . ചെറുഗോളി ഗ്രാമത്തിൻറെ ഹൃദയഭാഗത്തായി അറിവിൻറെ ആദ്യാക്ഷരങ്ങൾ നുകരുവാനൊരിടം ..... അതാണ്‌ മംഗല്പാടി ഗവ: ഹരിജൻ വെൽഫെയർ ലോവർ പ്രൈമറി സ്കൂൾ.
1929 ൽ മംഗല്പാടി ലേബർ സ്കൂൾ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രദേശത്തെ ഹരിജൻ കുട്ടികളുടെ ഉന്നമനത്തിനായി സ്ഥാപിതമായി . 1974 ൽ സ്കൂളിനു സ്വന്തമായി 1.5 ഏക്കർ സ്ഥലവും കെട്ടിടവും ലഭ്യമായി. ഇന്ന് ഹരിജൻ കുട്ടികൾക്ക് പുറമെ മലയാളം-കന്നട മാധ്യമങ്ങളിലായി ഒട്ടേറെ കുട്ടികൾ ഇവിടെ പഠിക്കുന്നു.
ഭൗതിക സാഹചര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഏറെ മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന ഈ വിദ്യാലയത്തിന്റെ വളർച്ചക്കായി കഴിഞ്ഞ കാലങ്ങളിൽ പ്രയത്നിച്ച എല്ലാ സുമനസുകൾക്കും നന്ദി .... നന്ദി...നന്ദി..
അതോടൊപ്പം ഭാവിയിലും കൂടുതൽ മെച്ചപെടാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ നാമ്പിടുമെന്ന പ്രത്യാശയോടെ ....... ഏവരേയും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു .....
A small village where lies the history of Mangalpady........ "Cherugoli". A place in the centre of Cherugoli, where the basics of knowledge can be enjoyed...... that is Mangalpady Harijan Welfare Lower primary school.
Established in 1929 in the name of Mangalpady Labour School for the welfare and progress of Harijan children in the province. In 1974 acquired 1.5 acres of land and a building as its own. Today besides Harijans students plenty of students are studying here in both malayalam and kannada medium. extended hearty thanks to all good minds who worked behind the growth of this school having foremost physical circumstances. Along with this expecting more impovements in the future...... welcomes all.......
